How to Get There

Mombo Camp is located in the heart of the Okavango Delta, in a reserve called the Moremi Game Reserve. Located at the Moremi's Northern most tip, Mombo is one of the Delta's most remote camps.

The only way of getting to Mombo is to to fly into its private airstrip. From Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta, it takes approximately 30 minutes to fly to Mombo Camp in a light aircraft. From Kasane, the gateway to the Chobe National Park in Northern Botswana the flight time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Kasane to Victoria Falls takes roughly 20 minutes but additional time is needed for customs and immigration.

The airstrip at Mombo is located 15 minutes' drive from camp, depending on what game is viewed on route!
